Weekendishness.

School started to weeks ago and I still feel a little out of the routine. As far as my weekends, I have been out of town for at least one day for the past two weekends, so poor husband has been left alone to fend for himself. And guess what? He has cleaned while I've been away. Impressive, no? He's also put the bed frame together and reorganized his closet, and as soon as I photograph it, I will show you the awesomeness he get me for our anniversary.

In crafting news, the Viking has been under the weather, and shutting down after about 10 minutes of quilting. Extreme sadness, but the fabulous store I got it from will fix it for free for a year after purchase. Now I just have to lug it back up to Iowa...

Josh Ritter and Quilting.

Man. I'm not usually a big music recommendation person, because most of the time, I figure that if people would like the music I listen to, they already know about it. Does that make sense? But every so often something makes me so happy that I just have to gush unapologetically to everyone I know. Josh Ritter. Wow. I mean, maybe everyone already knows and I am the last one on the Rittertrain, but this guy is amazing, and looks like he would be just absolutely incredible live. I've been on YouTube for the past 45 minutes watching live clips, and he's just awesome. Most people stink playing on Letterman, and he's just INCREDIBLE. See, all the gushing? And the fabrication of the word Rittertrain? Yes. I'm that ridiculous person. Sigh. How cool is his band? So cool. Crafts?
What?
Thanks for all the comments on the recent projects, I'm glad to know other people are almost as pleased with myself as I am. (Har.) Also, I think that the next time I quilt something, I will try and video tape it so I can make some sort of time-lapse video showing how little skill and planning goes into it. Seriously, I just kinda move the quilt back and forth in a pretty way, but I'll try to document.

What Is Hiding In The Corner Of My Attic?

What is that there, hiding behind the ironing-board-piled-with-unfinished-quilts? Oh, yes, it is the Newly installed Hunt Family Screenprinting Studio.

Ignore the botched prints hanging there, they were not made in the HFSS, and are therefor inferior to what will be produced there, surely, sometime soon. Except that currently temperatures in the HFSS, average around 105 degrees, according to my estimatey body thermometer. I like summer and all, but October is sounding better and better each day.
