It's garden gloves. The garden gloves I bought to pull down sheetrock with are my new best friend when quilting. Three dollars, and they have changed my entire life. Seriously. Get some garden gloves.

Yesterday turned out to be a pretty productive day, quilted a baby quilt for the shop, finished two bags, painted a plate, and (re)made a quilty scarf. Back soon, I have lots of Christmas projects in the works.

I was wondering if wearing gloves while quilting was a good as it was cracked up to be. Someone suggested using gardening gloves on my blog, and I thought that was a great substitute for the real expensive ones.
That quilt is gorgeous by the way! I'm loving those fabrics you picked out!

I just started sewing a few months ago, and I never quilted before. Why do you wear gloves? I love the quilt you are working on. It looks beautiful!
I recently discovered what a difference gloves can make while quilting as well. Why didn't anyone tell me sooner?
