A Post From The Animals

Rufus and Baxter have been complaining. It pains them, apparently, to be away from "their public" for so long. Baxter has taken it especially hard, and has had his revenge by rubbing his snotty cat nose across my face to wake me up at 5 am. Cold mucus in the wee hours is not really my cup of tea, folks. So here they are, in all of their glory...
Rufus has absolutely perfected the art of looking forlorn. He would win awards, if there were any for the taking. Having such a simultaneously impressive and disgusting beard helps. And Baxter may never forgive me for this, but he's just so ADORABLE when he's bathing! Though not so adorable when he discovers he's been photographed bathing... At least he's too tired to attack.
What's that? No one wants to see four pictures of my cat sleeping? Well, I edited it down from ten, so you're welcome.

I think Rufus and Gracie should have a "sad-face" off. She will take him DOWN.

See you on Saturday?

I love sleeping cat pictures! And Baxter is an awfully handsome cat. Love the quilt he's sleeping on, too.

Only time sleeping cats aren't so cute...when they're sleeping on my clean laundry...like mine is now! :) Ok...I guess they're still cute even then.
