Production!

I pieced it! It was hard.I don't know if I've mentioned this before, and I am too lazy to check and see if I have, but I am a sloppy, sloppy quilter. Or, anyway, a sloppy quilt-piecer. I don't really cut anything super well, I never square anything off, and I never, ever use pins. I used to, and then I got lazy and decided that if I couldn't pull it into place it didn't deserve being there. Or something like that. Really, I'm just lazy. But anyway, all this is fine and good, until it comes time to shmack the whole giant quilt top together, and then, my friends, I pay the piper, all day long. Anyway, I wish I could say I learned my lesson, but I seldom do (learn lessons,) and I am sure it will be the same next time, but kiddies, remember this tale, and heed my warning:
Uhm. Do things right, and your back will hurt less than mine does now.
I like to play ghost with my giant quilt top. Doesn't everyone?

I love your honesty. Who has time for pins?

And all this time I've been thinking that was the only one not using pins. I just got yelled at in a class a few weeks ago because of that. *sigh*

Yes , but you actually finish yours ! And then you quilt them ....... beautifully ....with the sewing machine . But you don't make a very scary ghost , I'm afraid !

Pinning things is for losers, we all know that!

Ahaha! I am completely the opposite! I pin everything. LOL! I actually kind of like pinning.

But, like the prev. commenter, then I never quilt them. They lay all folded up in bags. Nice square quilt... tops.

Pins, shmins. If you can make such a beautiful quilt top without them, then they are clearly overrated!

that is a very pretty quilt top

no pins here either...i just absentmindedly sew over them and bend them anyway. the top is great!

Same here...although, I refer to myself as a "good enough" quilter....the thing that cured my back...is to sew standing up at a counter high surface...it hasn't hurt in three years since I started. love your quilt top...precious!
